Woman Debtor Kicked to Death by Creditor

PHNOM PENH: Phnom Penh housewife, 43-year-old Eang Eng, has been killed in a heated argument with a woman to whom she owed money. Witnesses say the creditor stormed into the house of the victim on Tuesday afternoon. A fight broke out when the housewife said she was not able to pay what was owed.

The drama unfolded in Phnom Penh’s Borey Rong Roeung. The female suspect apparently kicked the housewife repeatedly in the stomach before fleeing the premises. The housewife’s body was found a few hours later. Police say she had severe bruising on the abdomen. They are still looking for the suspect.
